[Welcome] New faculty member
Prof. Jinseok Choi has joined the department of EE as of October. 19, 2020.
I am truly honored to join UNIST as a faculty member. I received my B.S. degree in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and B.B.A. degree at Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea in 2014. I received M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin, TX, USA, in 2016 and 2019, respectively. I was a student member of Wireless Networking and Communications Group (WNCG) and was working at Embedded Signal Processing Laboratory under supervision of Professor Brian L. Evans. Prior to joining UNIST, I was a senior system engineer at Wireless R&D, Qualcomm Inc., San Diego, CA, USA. I am now an assistant professor at UNIST. My primary research interest is to develop and analyze future wireless communication systems and to develop algorithms for intelligent devices that require ultra high-speed, high-reliability, and low-latency communications.
