NAVER Ph.D. Fellowship Award
2022.01.27UNIST CSE graduate student Junseon Kim (advisors: Prof. Kyunghan Lee and Prof. Youngbin Im) at Networked Computing Laboratory (https://nxc.snu.ac.kr/) and Next-generation Networks and Systems Laboratory (https://n2sl.github.io/) won the NAVER Ph.D. Fellowship Award. NAVER annually selects Ph.D students who have shown remarkable research achievements in computer science and awards the NAVER Ph.D. Fellowship.
Junseon Kim’s research interests include latency-guaranteed networking for cellular networks and low-latency transport protocol design. He published two papers at top-tier conferences (ACM CoNEXT 2018 (acceptance rate: 17.3%=32/185), IEEE INFOCOM 2021 (acceptance rate: 19.9%=252/1266)) in the field of computer networking and received IEEE INFOCOM Student Conference Grant (2021).
