Abstract
Real-time 3D hand tracking is now an essential technology for AR and VR applications. It is, however, a very difficult task because high accuracy and speed are required from the limited observations and computing resources. This seminar examines the methodologies of 3D hand tracking from the early stage to the recent state-of-the-art techniques to see how they overcome these difficulties and what remaining problems are.
