ABSTRACT:
The Geometric Algorithms Group (http://algo.unist.ac.kr/) is a research lab at UNIST that opened this year, and conducts research in Computational Geometry. More precisely, our work focuses on geometric algorithms design and analysis. In this presentation, we will give an overview of our research topics, which include the following:
– Path planning
– Geometric Optimization
– Shape Analysis
– 3D Protein Structure Prediction
 
SPEAKER BIOGRAPHY:
Antoine Vigneron is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST). He graduated from the École Polytechnique (Paris), and he received a PhD in Computer Science from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He previously worked at the National University of Singapore (NUS), INRA (France) and KAUST (Saudi Arabia). His research field is Computational Geometry.
