The main research areas of UNIST Antenna Technology Lab (ATL) include the design and analysis of beamforming array antennas and metasurfaces for next-generation space/defense, 5G/6G, and radar systems. In the space/defense sector, we are working on millimeter-wave Antenna-in-Package (AiP) technology, reconfigurable reflectarray antennas, and broadband high-power array antennas. We are also developing 5G/6G wireless communication and gesture sensing radar systems integrated with reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS) and display-integrated antennas.
